Bestselling author Dan Buettner will visit Chelsea via Skype to discuss his book “Blue Zones,” on Wednesday.

The book has been the focus of Chelsea’s community read project and helped serve as an inspiration for the Chelsea Area Wellness Foundation’s 5 Healthy Towns Project.

The event is free and takes place at the Washington Street Education Center auditorium from 7-8:30 p.m.

The book covers the common traits of five cities across the globe where people regularly live to be more than 100 years of age. The education center auditorium is at 500 Washington St.
