Students from Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s Ann Arbor campus teamed up Nov. 22 with students from the University of Michigan’s Law School to distribute Thanksgiving meals to families in need.

Students from the two schools collaborated in the Making Meals Happen program by delivering 170 boxes, each filled with food for preparing a holiday meal and a gift card.

The meals were delivered to families who were identified by Ypsilanti Public School officials and by officials at Dickens Elementary School in Ann Arbor.
