I've got two old sets I'm setting out for the trash tomorrow morning..... you can't give older clubs away, and they're not worth anything........can't get $5 a stick on trade in.......The stolen clubs must have been new clubs otherwise wouldn't be worth the trouble.........

I thought Second Street was strictly a business street. But I've been thinking of just the railroad track side of it. The home where the clubs were must be on the other side of the street, or on Cushing. Hope we don't learn later that the clubs were somehow autographed by a famous golfer, or had belonged to a legendary golfer; years ago, a baseball autographed by Babe Ruth was stolen from a home on another street in Dexter.

Any news on how the thief/thieves got into the garage? A side door?

don't know the specifics of this case but it's surprising how many people leave their garage doors open all night Also, always double check to see that the door did, indeed, close. I've seen some that obviously didn't close when expected to - with the door opener light left flashing, indicating a problem, all night long.

If the thief really wanted the golf clubs so badly, they could have probably found some after the tornado...
