I guess door wall windows are not a good idea in the rear of homes. I used to have 3, now only 2. Intruders will continue to be just that. Time of day or night doesn't matter to them. ( I have a feeling this intruder knew the resident wasn't home.) We are armed here...alarm system...security light...dog...and guns. Home or not, don't try it here. Jewelry, cash, drugs not available here. I thought only Police Officers put their life on the line everyday. Not so, intruders too. (but not trained).
