Man assaulted at Necto nightclub
A man was punched at least twice in the face by a man he knows early Sunday at Necto, a nightclub on East Liberty Street, Ann Arbor police said.
The 20-year-old Ann Arbor man told police that he was punched in the eye at 12:45 a.m. in the club after the man told him to go outside and he refused, police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said.
The man then grabbed his arm, brought him outside and punched him at least once in the head, Bush said. Bush said the victim did not know why the man told him to go outside.
The victim was taken by ambulance to University of Michigan Hospital to be treated for injuries to his face and one of his arms. So far, no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information can call the police department's tip line at (734) 794-6939.

Is this an under-21 club? If not, why would the victim bother to report this to police?
