Man serving time for Lenawee County burglary convicted of Saline business break-in
A convicted burglar already in a Lenawee County prison was sentenced to two to four more years behind bars for a business burglary in Saline.
Kevin Ettlich, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of breaking and entering a building with intent during a recent pre-trial hearing in Washtenaw County Circuit Court, records show.

Ettlich broke into different coin-operating machines at a car wash in the 100 block of West Michigan Avenue in Saline in November 2008. He was in the midst of a crime spree across Lenawee and Washtenaw counties that started that fall and stretched into early 2010, police said.
Prosecutors agreed not to charge Ettlich as a habitual offender and will dismiss a second count of breaking and entering at sentencing next month. That charge stemmed from a Subway shop burglary in Pittsfield Township in April 2009.
Ettlich is serving two to four years in an Adrian prison for breaking and entering and larceny convictions, records show. Circuit Judge Archie Brown will sentence Ettlich at the lower end of state sentencing guidelines, but he must pay restitution to the businesses, according to a sentencing agreement. The restitution amount has yet to be determined.

And why is Archie Brown charging him on the "lower" end of the guidelines? I think we need to look more closely at these judges and how they sentence these criminals.

Hopefully in 2-4 years this man will realize that nothing is worth breaking into. He probably has a Mom, (maybe even a grandmother) I know their hearts must be breaking.
