Man suffers broken nose after assault outside Ann Arbor nightclub
A man suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by three men early Sunday morning outside an Ann Arbor nightclub, police said.
At 1:30 a.m. Sunday, the 23-year-old Ann Arbor man left Live on South 1st Street when a man punched him in the nose, police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said.
The victim then punched the man who hit him, police said. That's when two other men began hitting the victim, Bush said.
The three men responsible for the assault left in a small red car that was possibly a Dodge Neon. It's unclear why the men assaulted the victim, Bush said.
Officers learned of the assault when they were called to University of Michigan Hospital, where the victim was being treated, at 6:45 a.m. Sunday. In addition to a broken nose, he had a cut on his face and black eye.
Police did not have detailed descriptions of the men involved in the assault.

Ann Arbor is still relativity safe if you don't go out alone, late at night, and/or stay away from bars.
