Queen-size bed and dresser stolen out of Ann Arbor storage locker
A queen-size bed and a dining room table, among other household items, were stolen from a public storage locker last weekend, according to police.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said the locker, located at a facility in the 2500 block of South Industrial Highway, was broken into some time between 7 p.m. March 15 and 9 a.m. March 17. Bush said the woman who owned the items came to the facility to pay her rent on March 15 and the locker was secured.
According to Bush, when she returned on March 17, the lock hasp had been broken off of the locker and most of the possessions inside were missing. A TV and some tubs were still inside, but the bed, table, another TV, two tubs of clothing, a tub of kitchen dishes, a tub of shoes and a dresser were reported stolen.
The woman told police she had allowed a friend to store items in the locker but the friend had recently removed all of her possessions. The woman replaced the lock and her friend did not have a key or access to the locker, but knew the code to get into the facility, Bush said.
The woman believes her friend broke the hasp off of the lock and took the items, Bush said.
Police still are investigating the incident. Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police 734-794-6939.

Does not seem like a very big crime story. There should be some insurance to cover this loss.
