Three TVs, document safe stolen from homes in Superior Township
Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the theft of three televisions and a document safe stolen during two burglaries in Superior Township.
Both break-ins were reported Wednesday.
Deputies went to the 8000 block of MacArthur Boulevard about 7:30 p.m. after the resident called police to report the back door of the home had been forced open. The burglary occurred sometime between noon and 7 p.m., according to police.
One 18-inch Sanyo flat screen TV, one 27-inch Visio flat screen TV and one Sony PlayStation 3 game system were reported stolen from the home, police said.
Deputies also went to the 1900 block of Ridgeview Drive after another break-in was reported on Wednesday. The exact time of the burglary is unknown, police said.
Entrance to the home was gained through the ground-floor kitchen window, police said. Among the items stolen from the home were a 42-inch Samsung flat screen TV and a Sentry fireproof document safe.
