Tools stolen from pole barn in Webster Township
Several tools were reported stolen from a Webster Township pole barn Saturday, and police believe the break-in occurred some time during the previous day.
Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the theft that was discovered because the door to the pole barn was forced open, causing noticeable damage. The pole barn is located in the 2900 block of Barker Road.
No arrests have been made, and police did not release any suspect information Monday.
Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 734-973-7711.

I would recommend the owner not store anything there from here on out...the whole world now knows he/she has a pole barn with tools and who knows what other valuables in it. Thanks to Ann Arbor.com we now have a map that will take us right to it. Yes, I know this is public info otherwise, but if they hadn't put this little "news" blurb here, I would have never known about it. i appreciate the heads up annarbor.com but the map and location is just TMI. The general location wouldhave been enough warning to area residents to keep an eye out for thieves, burglars, and suspicious characters in general.
