I grew up in Ypsilanti back when they actually had running factories and hard working class families. I know many of the families still continue to thrive and work there but it is a shame to see Ypsilanti slowly turning into a mini Detroit. I really hope there will be some way to curb all this violence before it gets too out of control.

There are neighborhoods of concentrated poverity with multigeneration families who for whatever reason are permanently too poor to move and a bunch of houses that would be better off razed because they're not worth selling. I don't know the answer to the problem.
