If you live in the Dexter School District and would like to serve on the Board of Education, there is a vacancy on the board.

With the recent resignation Trustee Kim Covert, one seat is vacant to for the remainder of her term, and will be filled by appointment by the board.

Interested applicants should submit a personal statement describing their interest and experience related to public schools to Superintendent’s Office, 7714 Ann Arbor St., Dexter, MI 48130.

All materials must be received by Jan. 20 at 4 p.m.

If more than one person applies, interviews will be conducted, and a decision will be made at a special board meeting on Jan. 30.
