As the 40th Annual Dexter Daze event draws closer, organizers are accepting applications for both artist vendors and volunteers.

The summer event will take place Aug. 10-11, and features more than 100 artist and crafter booths, as well as free entertainment.

Laurie Kokmeyer, one of the organizers, said there will be a meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at the Dexter Area Historical Society Museum and anyone who would like to volunteer is invited. Here’s a link to give you more information.
