A discussion of 2012 road projects is expected at Tuesday night's Dexter Village Council meeting.

Although the second meeting in December has historically been a housekeeping meeting for the Village Council, this year, there are several discussions on tap, including whether Edison Street should replace Main Street on the 2012 street rehabilitation priority list.

Following a water main and stormwater improvement project on Edison Street this fall, the road did not “hold up well” according to a memo from Courtney Nicholls, assistant village manager, and the Village Council will discuss whether the street repair priorities should be revised.

Currently, the plan is to complete a reconstruction of a portion of Central Street and resurface a section of Main Street.

The Village Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Dexter Senior Center, 7714 Ann Arbor St.
