Police investigate string of burglaries in Dexter Township

Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a spate of home burglaries reported Sunday in one block of Dexter-Pinckney Road along Portage Lake in Dexter Township.

The six burglaries were all reported during the early daytime hours Sunday in the 9200 block of Dexter-Pinckney Road, a media summary from the sheriff’s department said.

The times they occurred were unknown, and a list of stolen property was not available.

No arrests have been made.

That's the second time in the area lately. The last one was some neighborhood kids who left footprints. Interesting to see who it turns out to be this time - my money is on the same type of event.

Footprints left before the snow? During the winter, we often read of police catching criminals who leave footprints in snow. Articles about criminals leaving footprints at crime scenes during the other seasons are rare.
