Christmas Eve luminaria tradition continues in downtown Dexter
Dexter will put on its annual Christmas Eve luminaria display Saturday, but it will be concentrated in the downtown area this year, the Dexter Chamber of Commerce has announced.
In the past, many areas, including the subdivisions of the village, were lined with luminarias set out by volunteers, but because of a delivery mixup, there won’t be as many displays Saturday night.
Volunteers will be displaying the available luminarias to light the way through the village’s downtown, and visitors from throughout the county are invited to drive through Dexter to enjoy this annual tradition on Christmas Eve.
