Previous story: 4 men break into Lake Forest home and tie up resident during robbery

Pittsfield Township police are releasing more information in Monday's home invasion in the Lake Forest subdivision after a 19-year-old man told them he was tied up as his home was robbed by four intruders.

Initial reports indicated the suspects were black men in their 30s with accents and wearing University of Michigan hats. Three wore black coats and one wore a blue coat.

Updated information indicates that the youngest of the four was 30-35, while the other three subjects were older, ranging in age from late 40s to early 50s. All of the suspects were about 6 feet tall with medium builds.

Police also are looking for information on two vehicles seen near the home in the 4000 block of Timber Ridge.

According to a news release, "A white Dodge Charger with the word Charger on the windshield was seen in the area prior to the incident. Another vehicle that may be related to this incident is a blue Trail Blazer."

The investigation continues, police added.

Sure criminals can invade peoples homes, tie them up, and rob them in Pittsfield, but if those criminals ever make a turn without using their turn signal in Pittsfield Twp, then you can be sure that they will be pulled over by the police and issued a ticket. Of course, Pittsfield Township police are too busy driving around looking for people who make turns without using their turn signals. No wonder the criminals walk free...

The bad news from other areas is still coming...did not stop here. People need to look harder to find work than stealing stuff from the people who work hard.

Very odd still.

It's such a pitiful world today, with so many people so desperate that they feel crime is the only way to survive. (which is not true) Glad to hear the investigation continues. This story doesn't end here. My hope is that the suspects are caught, and caught soon.

With accents? In this area, that could mean they're from Boston. Can we get more specific?

Something tells me these four people, who are either 30 or 50 or somewhere in between will never be caught....... But cudo's to the victim for his James Bond-esque escape. Four guys, huh? Wow. What's the world coming to anyway?

Home invasions by multiple perpetrators seem to be a growing phenomenon.

Weird. These guys seem kind of old to be roving in a pack like this. But I guess they say that Gen X never grew up so why should I be surprised?
