Oakland County man convicted of sexually assaulting girl in York Township
A Commerce Township man pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a York Township girl in her family’s home.
Court records show Mark Uhrin, 19, will be sentenced on one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving force or coercion this month. Prosecutors agreed to dismiss two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a victim between the ages of 13-15.
Authorities arrested Uhrin after the 13-year-old victim was admitted to the University of Michigan Medical Center in early August. The assaults date back to January, court record show.
Uhrin waived his right to a preliminary hearing earlier this fall. He remains free on a personal bond pending sentencing.

Andrew, where are you? We need you comment on the assumption of guilt made by the writer of this article and by the police.
