One North Main will have a full house with move of Akasha Crystals

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Sept. 1 is moving day for Akasha Crystals Inc., according to a story posted this week on the Crain's Detroit Business website.

It's a big deal for the Ann Arbor-based  company, which was honored by Ann Arbor SPARK with a FastTrack award in 2007 for its growth.

The company, which imports and sells decorative rocks and crystals to retailers like Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel, is filling the last space in the One North Main building.

Situated on the corner of Main and Huron Streets, One North Main is Ann Arbor's largest Class A office building. The fast-growing Akasha need more space to accommodate its steadily growing operations.

"We are a world leader in decorative accents," company founder Adam Kasha told Ann Arbor Business Review in a previous story.
