Police wrongly going after MedMar Compassionate Healthcare

By Letters to the Editor

Washtenaw County prosecutors are seeking to profit more than $110,000 from MedMar Compassionate Healthcare, an upstanding medical marijuana clinic located at 1818 Packard (AnnArbor.com Oct. 20, 2011 - “Prosecutors seek forfeiture of more than $110,000 from Ann Arbor medical marijuana clinic”).

Prosecutors are alleging that MedMar profited from illegal drug sales. Nothing could be further from the truth. Even if that allegation were true, two wrongs don't make it right.

Law enforcement is profiting more money and medicine than the good, hard working, honest employees and members of MedMar Compassionate Healthcare ever have.
