Kulkenkamp, 51, was located Friday on the grounds of the Ann Arbor VA Hospital. He will have his health evaluated before returning home, Detective Tom Kolpacki said in an email.

He was last seen around 11 p.m. Thursday by the staff of the assisted living facility Synod House, 1315 S. Seventh Ave., when he went outside to smoke a cigarette.

He was possibly wearing a black hooded winter coat, blue jeans and brown hiking shoes. Kulkenkamp is about 5'10" and 160 pounds. Police said he was in need of his medication.

What he was "possibly wearing" hardly seems relevant now that he's been found.
