Given what was ripped off, we can be pretty sure that the thief was a fan of rap "music".......

It not only seems like there is more activity in the Saline/ Milan area, there is. (but I never fail to see officers in the areas) doing their jobs.

I'm talking in terms of quicker response time if a silent alarm was set off or if someone heard or saw something while pumping gas. Pretty bold, regardless. Then again, someone tried to rob Domino's just 1/4 mile east at 3:30 in the afternoon last week.

I don't think the cops hang around outside the station like the firemen used to do in chairs in front of the fire station in Ann Arbor. My cousin was one of those guys. I used to wave as I drove by.

You're right, something does smell funny. On a busy corner of US12 in downtown Saline, 24x7 Speedway on the other corner, fire station on the other corner (police right behind),...

No more than usual I guess - it's just being publicized more. Same reason people have a false impression of Ann Arbor's safety - instead of daily articles about each crime, you get a map once a week with the locations of 50 crimes.
