Open nearly one year, the Fifth Corner is finalizing details for two fundraising events to be held on the weekend of Nov. 12-13.

On Saturday night, there will be an 80’s dance for adults only, and on Nov. 13, a Lions’ tailgate party is being planned for visitors of all ages. Both events will charge a small cover charge.

Laurie Dawson, a teen center board member, said that adults are encouraged to arrive in ‘80s attire on Nov. 12 and light snacks will be provided.

For the tailgate party, tailgate food will be available for purchase, and the game against Chicago Bears will be shown on the 12x12 big screen.
