Saline's Music Under the Arch to feature Bill Meyer Piano and Friends
Bill Meyer Piano and Friends will be the featured musicians at Saline’s monthly downtown event, Music Under the Arch, on Feb. 16.
Meyer, pianist, bandleader, writer, arranger and producer, will be joined by friends to play ragtime, Dixieland, boogie, swing, and jazz.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the entertainment begins at 7:30.
In addition, the opening act will be Saline residents Jessie Nieves and Nic Gareiss performing fiddle, bouzouki, and percussive dance.
Reserved tickets for the show are $20; general admission tickets are $15; and student tickets are $10. To reserve tickets, call 734-316-2118, or e-mail musicunderthearch@hotmail.com.
Tickets can also be purchased online at www.musicunderthearch.com. The organization is a committee of the Saline Historic Downtown Alliance, a not-for-profit group.
In addition, the four downtown restaurants will give discounts on meals the night of the event. Show tickets for the show to get the discount.
Music Under the Arch takes place through May on the third Thursday of the month at Stone Arch Arts & Events, 117 S. Ann Arbor St.
