See a sneak peak of the new U-M football-themed playroom at Mott Children's Hospital
The new C.S. Mott Children's Hospital has offered a look at its "Little Victors" University of Michigan football-themed playroom that opens Nov. 13.
The interactive playroom is divided into nine "zones" meant to emulate the sights, sounds and energetic spirit of Michigan Stadium. It features a small scale press box, jungle gym equipment and high-definition projections of game footage.
The playroom is the result of a three-year fundraising effort by the U-M athletic department, which generated $450,000 for the project during its annual football Spring Game and Radio-o-Thon, according to a news release.

It's so sad that it took three years for the Athletic Department to raise the money for this. One of their star athletes could have easily written a check to fund this, but we rarely hear about former players donating money back to the university that provided the basis for their successful pro careers.
