Westbound I-94 reopened west of Rawsonville Road after accident
Update: The area is now open, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.
Westbound Interstate 94 shut down Wednesday afternoon just west of Rawsonville Road due to an accident, according to Washtenaw County dispatchers.
According to Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office spokesman Derrick Jackson, there were two vehicles involved in the crash and both drove away without injuries. A Chevrolet Cavalier and a Ford Taurus were the two cars involved in the accident, Jackson said.
The airbags on the Cavalier deployed, smashing the windshield.
Both of the drivers were out of their vehicles and walking around after the crash, Jackson said.

I went through about 4:20. No accident, nor any evidence of one. No slowdowns to the traffic at all. I wonder what happened?

Thanks for the heads up. I would have been going through there in about a half hour, but now I can alter my route.
