Here's your chance to weigh in on road work in your township

By Lisa Allmendinger

The Washtenaw County Road Commission has an updated list of meetings with elected officials from the townships.

This is your chance to either contact your township supervisor before the meeting with suggestions for 2012 road projects or to attend your township's meeting with Road Commission officials in person to make your voice heard.

Download the list of meeting times.

I turned off of Maple onto Miller heading toward town and it felt like I was on a gravel country road.

If one is unable to attend a meeting - what is the procedure for submitting a request for road work? I sent an email to the WCRC over a month ago about a road concern and have yet to hear anything from them. Could AA.com provide an email or phone number for these requests as well?

You can contact your township supervisor with your road concerns before the meeting. Send me an email at lisaallmendinger@annarbor.com with which township you live in and I'll provide you with a name, a phone number and an email of the person to contact.

They did a nice job on the new Waldo Rd. bridge, and it's appreciated.

What road work? All I see is my road working itself back into dirt.
