Wii and TV stolen from home in Ypsilanti

A Nintendo Wii and flat-screen television were stolen during a burglary reported Monday in the 500 block of 2nd Street, Ypsilanti police said.

The break-in occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., a police crime summary said.

Police do not have any suspects. Anyone with information can call police at (734) 483-9510.

Why do you report a flat screen tv being stolen in Ypsi but not the flat screen tv stolen from a downtown apartment building? Is it because you don't want Ann Arbor to be perceived as having crime?
