Thief swipes CDs in burglary on Towner Street in Ypsilanti

A storage bin containing numerous CDs was stolen during a burglary Sunday in the 700 block of Towner Street, Ypsilanti police said.
A woman reported Monday afternoon that between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, someone entered her home through an unlocked window and stole the bin, a police crime summary said.
Investigators do not have any suspects. Anyone with information can call police at (734) 483-9510.

They were most likely not blank CDs. With CDs, you have to remember where you left off with an audio story, or find the track where you left off. With cassettes, you don't. With vinyl records, you can see all the tracks at once, separating the songs from one another. No need to push a button to fast forward or advance the tracks with vinyl.

Chris--I think it's time you rolled your clock forward. Lots of people still have CDs. Some people still have vinyl!
