Deputies investigating attempted break-in at Ypsilanti Township home

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating an attempted break-in that was reported Sunday in Ypsilanti Township.

According to police, residents of a home in the 1600 block of Laurel Bay Drive returned to their home to find the front door of the residence had been forced open. However, it appeared that no one had entered the home and no property was reported stolen, police said.

The time of the attempted break-in is unknown. No arrests have been made in the incident to this point, police said.
