A 52-year-old Ypsilanti Township resident was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving following a two-car crash Thursday.

While investigating a two-car crash about 5 p.m. at Hewitt Road and Congress Street in Ypsilanti Township, Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputies became suspicious that one of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol.

They arrested the driver and will forward the police report to the prosecutor for review.
