A man was robbed Wednesday night in an apartment building in the 200 block of North Washington Street, Ypsilanti police said.

The man reported at 8:10 p.m. that he walked into the building to visit a friend when a man assaulted him, stole $40 from him and left the area, a crime summary said. Police continue to investigate. Further details were not available this morning.
