Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of a motorcycle Saturday from an apartment building parking lot in the 2500 block of Lakeshore Drive in Ypsilanti Township, according to a media summary.

The theft occurred between 8-9:15 p.m. The victim told deputies the motorcycle — a red and white 2002 Yamaha R1 — was parked outside the apartment building prior to the theft, the summary said.

No suspect information was available. The case remains under investigation.
