Ypsilanti Police arrest home invasion suspect found hiding in bushes
A neighbor alerted Ypsilanti Police to a possible home invasion early Sunday, and moments later responding officers found the suspect hiding in bushes a few blocks away.
The call was made at about 1 a.m. from the 900 block of Congress, where the neighbor said he thought an apartment may have just been broken into. The caller gave police a description of a suspect who was spotted leaving the home.
Police responding to the call searched the area, and found a 34-year-old man who matched that description trying to hide from them.
He has previous break-in convictions, and is being held in the Washtenaw County Jail for violating parole while charges in Sunday's crime are pending.
Officers said the suspect, an Ypsilanti Township resident, entered the home through a rear window, then left through the front door while carrying electronics.

Let's just hope this perp gets more than just counseling and probation this time . His record indicates that he isn't interesred in rehabilatation.

They should be when their station is just up the street from there. I've personally found them and WCSD to have quick response times.
