Ypsilanti police investigate burglary on 1st Avenue

Ypsilanti police are investigating a burglary reported Thursday in the 300 block of 1st Avenue.

A woman reported at 12:45 p.m. that she returned home to find that the back door had been kicked in and cash, clothes and a computer were missing, a crime summary said.

Police do not have any suspects. Anyone with information can call police at (734) 483-9510.

I just don't know how we can get smarter than the criminal. Maybe I do...and it is hard to do...when there are more criminals than honest home owners anymore. (and of course less police officers)
