Who hasn't flipped through the pages of a beauty magazine and wished for a personal makeup artist who would make sure they were always runway ready?
While we can't provide you with your own make-up fairy godmother, we did recently sit down with Amy Sanford, makeup artist extraordinaire to learn the insider tips and trends every fashionista should know.

- I have been with SEPHORA 7 years
- What is your favorite part of my job?
- Helping make our clients feel more beautiful via our services offered at our SEPHORA Beauty Studio. Also, working at Sephora, like many of my team members, I love discovering new products, and our brands always have the newest hottest product innovations.
- What is the best beauty tip you could give someone?
- My suggestion to all, no matter your expertise in makeup, keep it simple, and use makeup to enhance your natural features.
- What is your favorite Spring/Summer trend?
- Bright colors on the cheeks, lips and nails - currently I am loving the SEPHORA + PANTONE Color of The Year Collection, which features Tangerine Tango, a bright poppy red orange for eyes, lips, cheeks and nails.
- Beauty fad do you wish would disappear forever?
- Overly lined lips and frosty lipstick!
- What is the beauty "rule" every woman should remember?
- Always moisturize and wear sunscreen, it’s the best investment you can make to protect and preserve your skin.
- What is one beauty tool every woman should try?
- I believe everyone should try the Clarisonic, it literally changes the texture and brightness of your skin, I use it every day.
