"The guy can pitch."

Texas manager Ron Washington's simple summation of Rangers starter Cliff Lee held true Monday in an 8-0 win against the Yankees in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series. Lee struck out 13, making him the first pitcher with double-digit strikeouts in three consecutive postseason games, The New York Times reports.

The Yankees and Rangers play again tonight, and Yankees starter A.J. Burnett says he understands the pressure he faces with his team down two games to one, the New York Post reports.
