Athletes to know: Gabriel Richard's Sarah Falvey and Saline's James Olson
This week's Athletes to Know features Father Gabriel Richard basketball player Sarah Falvey and Saline hockey player James Olson.

Grade: Senior.
Sport: Basketball.
Accomplishment: Helped her team to a 53-41 win Monday night, scoring eight points in the game. Falvey is also on pace to leave Gabriel Richard with most varsity letters in school history. Besides playing basketball, Falvey has also been a varsity member of the cross country, track and soccer teams.
Favorite book: "Hunger Games," by Suzanna Collins.
Favorite subject: Math.
Future plans: To attend college and play soccer while studying physical therapy.
Role model: Tim Tebow. “I like his sportsmanship and his faith,” Falvey said.
Coach Matt Carroll says: “Sarah is a teammate who is an intense competitor on the floor but is a great friend and role model off the floor.”

Grade: Senior.
Sport: Hockey.
Accomplishment: The team's captain, Olson has scored 15 goals and has 12 assists in 15 games this season for the Hornets.
On his iPod: Eminem and Wiz Kahlifa.
Favorite subject: Math.
Future plans: Will attend either Central Michigan or Saginaw Valley next year, where he hopes to play hockey and study special education.
Role model: Steve Yzerman. “He was a great leader and a great player overall,” Olson said.
Coach Drew Denzin says: “He’s been a kid that has anchored our offense. We promoted him to captain because of the way he conducts himself on and off of the ice.”
