The AnnArbor.com “Game of the Week” has garnered more than 1,100 votes through noon Tuesday. More than half of them have been for Milans’ game against Carleton Airport, with Pioneer vs. Huron more than 250 votes back, with 206.

Saline's game at Skyline has 141 votes, while Michigan Center at Manchester has 109 and Dexter at Chelsea has 104.

Fans can vote up until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, when this week’s poll closes.

Milan will look to continue its incredible turnaround from a 1-8 season last year and remain undefeated on the season. A win Friday against Carleton Airport would give Milan the Huron League title outright.

The Big Reds have already locked up an automatic playoff berth and at least a share of the conference title.

Milan running back Arthur Dukes has 1,162 yards on the year, and holds a lead over Chelsea’s Berkley Edwards in the race to become Washtenaw County’s leading rusher for the year.

But the game could still be overtaken, and the closest is the Ann Arbor city rivalry, where Huron will look to snap a nine-game losing streak against the Pioneers.
