Dexter and Saline softball split, Huron and Pioneer baseball win two apiece and more Monday results
Depending on which team's scorebook you reference, the Dexter High School softball team had either two or three hits in the first game of its doubleheader at Saline on Monday.
What's indisputable is that the Dreadnaughts turned those three hits into a 4-1 win. Saline bounced back for a 6-5 win in the second game to produce a Southeastern Conference crossover split.
"I'm still trying to figure out how we won this one," Dexter coach Kathy Day said about the opener.
