Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford expects to start next week.

Now that Detroit Lions second-year quarterback Matthew Stafford is healthy and back at practice, he wants to help the team improve its 1-5 record.
"Hopefully , I can do that and we can come out here and get a couple of wins in the second half,'' he told MLive.com. "We've been playing really well, and Shaun's been doing a great job. Hopefully, I can give us a little extra boost and get us over that hump a little bit.''
