Tru2, what you saw on the PSU forums is interesting--I think that's because PSU fans know PSU the best. For everyone else, I think it's hard to understand what PSU really is this year. None of their victories have been impressive to me so far, not even the Big Ten ones. My guess is PSU has some shortcomings on offense, but PSU fans would know what those are--not most of us, although, clearly, they lost some great receivers last year. Forcier, to me, has shown he can handle defensive pressure, especially in the 4th quarter when it really tends to matter. So we just need the defense to hold PSU well enough for us to be at least within a touchdown of PSU late in the game, although it'd be nice if they did better than that. I am most worried about Michigan's defense. There would be no doubt in my mind that Michigan would beat PSU and OSU this year if Michigan's defense were better. I do agree, though, that PSU just seems to have issues with Michigan, especially at Michigan Stadium. When you think about PSU being #10 in 2007 and Michigan winning with Ryan Mallett and were up, like, 17-14 at the half LAST year with Threet (weren't they?)...the only question is did last year break PSU's seemingly mental block against Michigan.

The thing I look at is that psu is supposed to be this great powerhouse not saying that theyre not its just that i look at who they have played and i realy dont see anybody that stands out other than iowa. They were man handled by iowa in their house yet we came so very close to beating iowa in iowa I just think we have a better chance in possibly winning this game than what most people think. GO BLUE
