Super Senior Lawrence Clemons captures Senior Ann Arbor Golf Championship
Lawrence Clemons, who competed in the Super Senior division for golfers 63 and older, took home the overall title at the Ann Arbor Senior Championship on Sunday, finishing one stroke ahead of Mark Mann.
"Basically, I just went out to have some fun," said Clemons, who captured the Super Senior division last year.
All knotted at the end of the front nine, Clemons, a Canton resident, shot a 71 Sunday to claim the title. Clemons hit a rough patch on the back nine, bogeying Nos. 13 and 14 before a birdie at No. 17 put him back on track.
Clemons, of course, also took home the Super Senior divisional trophy.
