Aramis Ramirez, a 33-year-old free agent third baseman with 315 career home runs, has attracted the interest of the Detroit Tigers, according to multiple reports.

Ramirez is coming off a season with the Chicago Cubs in which he hit .306 with 26 home runs and 93 RBI. MLive.com reported Sunday night that two sources are saying the Tigers and the agent for Ramirez spoke earlier this month.
