The No. 14 spot is the highest ranking Michigan has had since opening the 2009-10 season at No. 15.

Michigan is one of three Big Ten teams in this week's AP poll, with Ohio State coming in at No. 2 and Wisconsin sitting at No. 9.

While on Maui, the Wolverines knocked off a top 10 team in Memphis before falling to No. 3 Duke in the second round.

Kentucky took over the top spot from North Carolina in the most recent poll. Ohio State, Duke, Syracuse and UNC round out the top five. Louisville, Baylor, UConn, Wisconsin and Florida close out the top 10.

Michigan State, Illinois and Purdue were listed as teams also receiving votes.
