Michigan women's basketball team completes three-game sweep at Paradise Jam
Senior guard Courtney Boylan scored a game-high 16 points to help the Michigan women's basketball team beat Marquette, 71-51, Saturday at the UVI Sports and Fitness Center in St. Thomas on the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The win completes a three-game sweep and a "Reef Division" championship at the Paradise Jam tournament for the 7-0 Wolverines.
Jenny Ryan added 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Michigan, which led 41-26 by halftime.
Sarina Simmons scored 14 points for Marquette (3-3).
Michigan travels to No. 8-ranked Maryland (7-0) on Wednesday for a Big Ten/ACC Challenge game. The Terrapins routed Cal State--Bakersfield 114-83 on Saturday in the Florida Atlantic Thanksgiving Classic.
