Brad Stevens won't take the money and run.
Butler's coach spurned an offer from Oregon believed to be in the $2 to $3 million range Thursday to stay put in the Horizon League after leading the Bulldogs to within two points of a national championship.
No doubt, he gets something from the surge. Butler gave him a 12-year contract extension Thursday. Meanwhile, it's time for Oregon to get realistic in its search for a new basketball coach, says columnist John Canzano.

I'm happy for the Butler coach... pause... Ok let's move on. Next article below, 'Michigan third-most overrated program....', I think this just really shows the respect UM Football has in America, everyone wants us to finish high, they hope and wish - so the hacks and guessers pick us high. The bettors do also, then hope to make a killing if we don't make their wild expectations. If preseason polls were based on respect, fans, tailgating, coaches, students, and athletes - we sit atop the polls every year... we like the respect, not necessarily the preseason guesses! UM Football - America's choice........ Preseason Polls - hacks should have no voice
