Full video of Michigan football QB Denard Robinson's media day keynote speech
By Nick Baumgardner
CHICAGO -- Denard Robinson said he was ready to let the world know a little bit more about him.
And Friday afternoon, he delivered on that promise.
The Michigan football quarterback was the featured speaker at the Big Ten's annual kickoff luncheon. He spoke for more than eight minutes about his family, his late brother, where he came from and where he's headed.
The Big Ten Network has the video of his speech in full.

What a terrible performance. Will leave it at that.

I disagree, Tom. While he wasn't as articulate or polished as at least one previous student-athlete-speaker (I've only ever watched one previous out of who knows how many), I thought Denard Robinson did a fine job ('fine' is at least 8 steps above 'terrible') getting an important message across to a number of groups out there, including his fellow student-athletes, the coaches, the Big Ten fan base in general, and specifically to the kids who look up to these players as role models. It'd be interesting to see some footage of what you were like (or still will be like) when you were 21 or 22 (or will be 21 or 22) where you were thrust into the spotlight in some situation and how perfectly or terribly you handled yourself.
