Michigan-Notre Dame football game will be under the lights again, this time in South Bend
The Michigan football program played its first night game at Michigan Stadium last season against Notre Dame.
The rivalry will be back in prime time in 2012.
Notre Dame and NBC Sports announced a 7:30 p.m. kickoff for the Sept. 22 game in South Bend, Ind.
It's the first kickoff time set on Michigan's 2012 schedule.
Michigan and Notre Dame last played a night game at Notre Dame Stadium in 1990, when the No. 1-ranked Fighting Irish beat No. 4 Michigan, 28-24.

I've learned My reason's the hate I have for the so called irish is from them selves, their trying so hard to be west coast as seen in the two or three set's of fake blone's in the crowd that leave early from the game.Time to bring back the Fat Guy ! Please leave Jeasus out of aneything nd!!!! Your great play calling and soal left with your wide receiver. With Hate Tim .

Why are my comments hidden and how would I be able to report abuse against myself? This doesn't make any sense, maybe you guys need to fix the settings or something?

Mick, it will only show that to you. The rest of us can see what you write (unless the comment is actually removed). Strange bug in the new commenting system.

We've lost some frustrating night games in SB, let's hope we win this one and not lose cause the wind stopped blowing when they're lining up to try a FG or something. ND has had some of the luckiest wins in sports history against us, I gotta good feeling about this one, Go Blue!!!

So let's shine some light on 'Touchdown Jesus', as he will certainly be favoring the maize and blue and getting his exercise in that evening. MgoBlueForTiM....everyone raise your hands for Michigan

They might have to refrain from rolling up the streets and turn on the lights.

I hate Notre Dame more than any other team. Here's hoping Michigan takes them down, again, on primetime television.

Rude...it's one of those fan bases that if they win, they never let you forget it and I dislike that...

As an alum of both I can say that both fans can be equally obnoxious. That being said, U-M home games seem to draw many (many many) more non-alums whose only tie to the team/school is geography. I've been threatened, pushed, and had things thrown at while I was simply walking to and from my car with my parents at several U-M home games. Never have I been more ashamed of my school than in those instances. The comments in this thread that mention "hate" feed right into that. There's nothing classy about hate.

Matt, You should read up on your Michigan-Notre Dame history, you'll find that historically speaking, there is little in terms of respect between the two teams. From an Boilerhooser perspective: http://onefootdown.fantake.com/2010/09/08/the-notre-dame-michigan-rivalry-to-hell-with-notre-dame/ http://www.domerdomain.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30904 From a Michigan perspective: http://mvictors.com/?p=7377 There is respect in that winning the game is important to both sides, but outside of that, there is hatred.
