Both, of course, are former Michigan football players. Which begs the question:

Manningham: good game, but too arrogant during player intro's to acknowledge Michigan as his alma mater and ticket to the Giants. Pity.

Brady played well enough, but not well enough to win and once again, it seemed that the pass rush pressure made him do things that he didn't want to do (shades of prior Giants games). His stats were good when he was rolling, but those long passes doomed him (one a safety, one a pickoff). Manningham redeemed himself with that sweet grab in crunch time after going out of bounds earlier. He made 2 big time catches that enabled the Giants to score the game winning TD. What more do you want? Fun watching Michigan guys do so well. (But truth be told, I really wanted Brady to get his 4th).
